Marketplace, Locations and Account Settings
Connect delivery and POS, manage locations, configure Delivery Dispatch, payments, dual pricing and takeout.
This chapter covers everything under the Marketplace button, the Delivery Dispatch sidebar page, and the Account section of the sidebar (Locations and Settings). It is where you connect outside services (delivery networks and your POS), edit your restaurant locations, configure how orders are dispatched, and control account-wide settings like your password, default language, dual pricing, payment processor, and how takeout/delivery orders work.
What you can do here
- Connect or disconnect delivery networks: Uber Direct, InhouseDelivery (IHD), and RouteMasters.
- Connect your Shift4 POS and import its catalog into Eatsy.
- See informational cards for other services (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Toast, Clover, and — if you have Microsites/WhiteLabel — Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok Shop, WhatsApp).
- Configure Delivery Dispatch from the sidebar (strategy, schedules, coverage, operators) once it is connected in Marketplace.
- View the list of your locations and edit a location (name, address, contact, hours, status, photos).
- Edit your own admin Profile and change your password (in-app, or via Forgot password / first-login reset on the login screen).
- Turn on Dual Pricing (a cash/card price difference) per location.
- Set the default language and the languages your menu can be translated into.
- Choose your payment gateway (Shift4 or NMI) and enter processor credentials.
- Configure Payment rules (sales tax, tips, gift cards) and Takeout/Delivery (order types, prep time, surcharges, delivery zones, fees, minimums).
Where to find it
- Marketplace — sidebar Marketplace (single button), URL https://admin.eatsyorders.com/marketplace
- IHD detail: https://admin.eatsyorders.com/marketplace/details/ihd
- Shift4 detail: https://admin.eatsyorders.com/marketplace/details/shift4
- Delivery Dispatch — sidebar Delivery Dispatch, URL https://admin.eatsyorders.com/delivery-dispatch
- Locations — sidebar Account → Locations, URL https://admin.eatsyorders.com/account/locations
- Edit location: https://admin.eatsyorders.com/account/locations/…/edit
- Settings — sidebar Account → Settings, URL https://admin.eatsyorders.com/account/settings (each tab adds
?tab=...)
Visibility (Marketplace): The Marketplace button and both detail pages require the see-marketplace permission. Without it you see "You do not have permission."
Visibility (Delivery Dispatch): The sidebar item appears when you have marketplace/dispatch access (see-marketplace or manage-delivery-dispatch).
Visibility (Account): Locations requires see-place. Editing a location needs edit-place. The Settings section appears if you have any of: see-account, see-dual, see-language, see-leads, see-place, see-payment, see-provider, see-takeout.
Marketplace
The Marketplace lists every integration grouped into four sections: Third party deliveries, Third party orders, POS, and E-commerce, Social media and Chats. Everything you see reflects the currently selected location (the active place at the top of the app) — switching locations reloads the cards.
Each card (ES card shows the same labels) has a logo, a short description, and one primary button:
- If the integration is connected/active, the button reads Disconnect (ES: "Desconectar").
- If it is not connected, the button reads Connect (ES: "Conectar") or Configure (ES: "Configurar") depending on the service.
- A "kebab" (three-dot) menu may offer See detail (ES: "Ver detalle") and Instructions (ES: "Instrucciones").
Third party deliveries
These let Eatsy hand your delivery orders to an outside courier network. Important limit: only one delivery provider can be active at a time. If you connect a second one, the app automatically disconnects the one that was active and shows a warning first: "Connecting {newProvider} will automatically disconnect {activeProvider}. Only one delivery provider can be active at a time."
When you disconnect the last active delivery provider, the app automatically switches your delivery mode back to Own Delivery (so you are not left set to "Integrated" with nothing integrated). If another provider is still active, your delivery mode is left unchanged.
Uber Direct
Sends your orders to your customers using Uber's courier network with real-time tracking.
To connect:
- Click Connect on the Uber Direct card. The Connect to Uber Direct dialog opens.
- If another delivery provider is active, a yellow warning banner appears at the top — confirming will disconnect that provider.
- Fill in your four Uber Direct credentials (all required):
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Customer ID | Your Uber Direct customer/organization ID | Required |
| Client ID | Uber Direct API client ID | Required |
| Client Secret | Uber Direct API client secret (hidden field) | Required |
| Webhook Secret | Secret used to verify Uber's webhook calls (hidden field) | Required |
- Click Connect (the button reads Connecting… while it works). On success the card switches to Disconnect and any other active delivery provider is automatically turned off.
To disconnect:
- Click Disconnect on the Uber Direct card. The Disconnect Uber Direct dialog opens with a yellow warning: "Are you sure you want to disconnect Uber Direct? This will deactivate the integration."
- Click Confirm to disconnect, or Cancel to keep it.
- (If the integration is somehow already off, the dialog instead says "The Uber Direct integration is not currently active" and only offers Close.)
DoorDash (informational)
Shown for reference only. There is no connect action on this card in the current build.
InhouseDelivery (IHD)
A delivery aggregation platform that connects to multiple courier providers through one API. Use this when you want Eatsy to pick the best available courier automatically.
To connect from the listing:
- Click Connect on the InhouseDelivery card.
- The app first checks your location data. If something required is missing, the Incomplete data to connect with IHD dialog appears. It shows a red alert, a Required fields list (each with the field name and the reason it's needed) and, when relevant, a Recommended fields list (yellow warnings). It has two buttons: Cancel and Go to Location Settings (which takes you straight to Account → Settings → Settings tab to fix the data).
- Required fields for IHD: Location name, phone, full address, GPS coordinates, and timezone.
- Recommended (optional): email address (for delivery notifications).
- If the data is complete, the Connect to InhouseDelivery form opens. If another delivery provider is active, a yellow warning banner appears at the top (confirming will disconnect that provider). Enter the four IHD credentials (all required):
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Location ID | Your IHD location identifier | Required |
| Location Code | Your IHD location code | Required |
| Client ID | IHD API client ID | Required |
| Client Secret | IHD API client secret (hidden field) | Required |
- Click Connect (shows Connecting… while it works). On success the card shows Disconnect and any other active delivery provider is turned off automatically.
Note — the IHD confirm dialog: When you reconnect an IHD location that was set up before (for example from the IHD detail page), instead of the credentials form you may see a Confirm connection dialog. It previews the location that will be sent to IHD — Name, Phone, Address, Email, and Timezone — pulled from your current location settings, with a warning banner if another provider is active. Review the values and click Connect (or Cancel). Wrong values here come from your location settings, so fix them in the Settings tab first.
Other actions on the card: See detail opens the IHD detail page; Instructions opens the Before setting up InhouseDelivery guide (a 3-step overview: 1. Verify your location information, 2. Connect your location, 3. Start managing deliveries) with a single Close button.
To disconnect:
- Click Disconnect on the InhouseDelivery card. The Disconnect InhouseDelivery dialog opens with a yellow warning: "Are you sure you want to disconnect InhouseDelivery? This will deactivate the integration."
- Click Confirm to disconnect, or Cancel to keep it. (If IHD is already off, the dialog shows "The InhouseDelivery integration is not currently active" with only a Close button.)
IHD detail page (/marketplace/details/ihd)
This page (back arrow returns to Marketplace) explains what IHD is, lists key features (aggregate multiple providers, unified tracking, automatic routing), shows the configuration steps and an FAQ. The top-right button is Connect when IHD is off and Disconnect when it is on; the kebab menu has Instructions. If you previously connected and then turned it off, reconnecting here can reactivate the same location without re-entering all data. The same one-active-provider rule applies (reactivating IHD will deactivate Uber Direct if it is on).
RouteMasters
A standalone nationwide delivery partner.
To connect:
- Click Connect on the RouteMasters card. (If your location has no name set, you get an error toast and the dialog won't open — set the location name first.)
- The Connect to RouteMasters confirmation dialog opens. It previews your location Name and Address, and shows a read-only Merchant ID field (filled automatically from your location). A yellow warning banner appears if another delivery provider is active.
- Click Connect (shows Connecting… while it works). The button is disabled if no Merchant ID could be built. On success the card shows Disconnect and any other active delivery provider is turned off.
To disconnect:
- Click Disconnect on the RouteMasters card. The Disconnect RouteMasters dialog opens with a yellow warning: "Are you sure you want to disconnect RouteMasters? This will deactivate the integration."
- Click Confirm to disconnect, or Cancel to keep it. (If RouteMasters is already off, the dialog shows "The RouteMasters integration is not currently active" with only a Close button.)
Third party orders
- Uber Eats and DoorDash — informational cards describing centralizing those orders inside the Admin. No connect action in the current build.
POS
Shift4
Connect your Shift4 point-of-sale so Eatsy can import and stay synced with your product catalog (categories, items, modifiers).
From the Marketplace card:
- Configure opens the import flow.
- The kebab menu offers Instructions and Disconnect.
Instructions — "Before setting up Shift4" dialog. A 3-step overview with a Close button: 1. Verify your Shift4 account (you need administrative access to Shift4); 2. Authorize the connection (in the Shift4 marketplace, grant Eatsy Orders permission to access your catalog); 3. Catalog import (once connected you can import products, categories and modifiers; your menu stays synced).
Shift4 detail page (/marketplace/details/shift4) shows an overview, key features, the 3-step setup, and an FAQ. From there you can:
- Configure — opens the import modal.
- Run Run audit (checks for catalog issues / missing / orphaned items), Check sync status (overall health, last sync time, counts of synced categories/items/modifiers), and Resync catalog (opens the Resync Catalog Configuration dialog, below). These buttons are disabled until a Shift4 location is connected.
- Kebab menu: Instructions, Disconnect.
The import dialog ("Configure Shift4") — step by step. This is a two-step wizard:
- Step 1 — Merchant ID. Enter your Shift4 Merchant ID (required; numeric) and leave the Active switch on (default). Click Continue.
- If you have already imported this location before, the dialog opens with the Merchant ID filled and read-only and a message that the configuration/import is already done; the button reads Save and just saves the integration settings.
- The app validates the Merchant ID before advancing. Common blockers shown as a red alert: the installation isn't in a valid (fulfilled) state ("The installation state for the entered merchant ID is not valid"), the catalog was already imported, or the location couldn't be found.
- Step 2 — Confirm catalog import. Pick at least one sales channel to import into (required — only Microsites/WhiteLabel channels are listed). Choose whether to publish the menu after import (Yes/No radio). An accordion shows the count of categories that will be imported and lets you expand the category list. Click Confirm import to pull in your categories/items/modifiers, or Go back to return to step 1.
The "Resync Catalog Configuration" dialog (from the Shift4 detail page → Resync catalog): pick at least one Channels value (Microsites and/or WhiteLabel, required), toggle Publish Menu on/off, then click Start Resync (or Cancel). A success toast confirms the sync started.
To disconnect Shift4:
- Choose Disconnect from the card's kebab menu (or the detail page). The "Are you sure you want to disconnect Shift4?" dialog opens with a red alert: "The process of disconnecting from the Shift4 marketplace is irreversible, and once the process is complete, the catalog will no longer be automatically synchronized."
- Click Confirm to disconnect, or Cancel to keep it. (If Shift4 was never configured for this location, the dialog instead says it's not configured and only offers Close.)
Gotcha: Disconnecting Shift4 uninstalls the integration and is irreversible. Catalog syncing stops; re-importing is a fresh setup.
- Toast and Clover — informational POS cards only.
E-commerce, Social media and Chats
Visibility: This whole section only appears if your account has the Microsites or WhiteLabel product.
Cards: Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok Shop, WhatsApp. Facebook opens Facebook Login when you click Configure; the others may be informational only until they are fully connected for your account.
How product access works (important): Some sections unlock when your account includes a product whose name contains a required word (for example Microsites or WhiteLabel), not only on an exact name match. Practical consequences:
- A product whose official name only includes Microsites or WhiteLabel as part of a longer name (for example a bundle or an add-on) will unlock these gated areas, even if it isn't the standalone product you expected.
- Spelling matters: a differently spelled product name may not unlock the section. If a section appears or disappears unexpectedly for an account, check the exact product names assigned to it.
Locations
The Locations page lists every restaurant location in your company in a table.
- Each row links to that location's edit screen (requires edit-place).
Edit a location
Where: Locations → click a row → edit (/account/locations/…/edit).
This is the main location profile form. On wide screens the action buttons sit in a side panel; on narrow screens they appear at the top. There is a back arrow in the form header, and a confirmation dialog appears if you try to leave with unsaved changes.
At the top of the form are two switches:
- Hide prices (ES: "Ocultar precios") — hides prices on the public site for this location.
- Active (ES: "Activo") — whether the location is live.
Field-by-field:
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Name | The location's name | Required, max 255 characters |
| Contact person | The person Eatsy/couriers contact | Required, max 255 characters |
| Address | Start typing and pick from the address autocomplete | Required, max 255 characters |
| Address line 2 | Suite/unit | Optional (shows after an address is chosen) |
| City | City | Optional |
| State | State | Optional |
| Zip code | Postal code | Optional |
| Country | Country | Optional |
| Latitude / Longitude | GPS coordinates — filled automatically from the chosen address | Read-only (you cannot type these) |
| Location's email | Email for this location | Required, must be a valid email |
| Location's phone | Phone for this location | Required; US format, must start with + and country code |
Below the address fields the form also has an SEO section (page title and meta description for search engines) and a language selector so you can enter the title/description in each enabled language.
To save: click Save (ES: "Guardar"). A confirmation dialog appears; confirm to write the changes. A success toast shows the location name.
Gotcha: Latitude/Longitude come only from selecting a real address in the autocomplete. Clearing the address resets the coordinates to 0, which can block IHD (which requires GPS coordinates).
Delivery Dispatch
Where: sidebar Delivery Dispatch, URL https://admin.eatsyorders.com/delivery-dispatch.
Visibility: The sidebar item appears when you have marketplace/dispatch access (see-marketplace or manage-delivery-dispatch).
This page configures how orders are dispatched for the active location: your own fleet, external operators, or a hybrid model. Everything here is scoped to the location selected at the top of the app — switching locations reloads the configuration.
Prerequisites
Delivery Dispatch must be connected for the location in Marketplace. If it is not connected, the page shows an empty state with a message to connect from Marketplace and a Go to Marketplace link (ES: "Ir al Mercado").
Edit permission
- With manage-delivery-dispatch (edit permission), you can change Strategy, Schedules, and Coverage. A Save changes button appears on those tabs.
- Without edit permission, the page is view-only: an info alert explains that you do not have permission to manage Delivery Dispatch, and the Save button does not appear for Strategy / Schedules / Coverage.
Tabs
| Tab | What you configure |
|---|---|
| Strategy | Assignment strategy (own drivers only, external operators only, or hybrid) and external operator priority |
| Schedules | Weekly operating schedules for own fleet and external operators |
| Coverage | Coverage layers as polygons and/or radius (own and external) |
| Own fleet rates | Dispatch-related rates for your own fleet (driver pay rules) |
| Operators | External operators available at this location (activation / connection) |
Use these tabs to configure delivery strategy, schedules, coverage polygons/radius, and operators. Save Strategy, Schedules, or Coverage with Save changes at the top when you have edit permission. Operators and Own fleet rates use their own save controls on those tabs.
Settings
Where: Account → Settings (/account/settings). The screen is a row of tabs; which tabs you see depends on your permissions and products. Each tab also re-checks its own permission, so a tab can be visible but read-only if you can "see" but not "edit."
The tabs (in order) and their gating:
Tab (URL ?tab=) | Permission | Product needed |
|---|---|---|
Account (account) | see-account | — |
Billing (billing) | see-dual | — |
Language (language) | see-language | — |
Settings (settings) | see-place | — |
Payment (payment) | see-payment | Microsites |
Payment providers (payment-providers) | see-provider | — |
Takeout/Delivery (takeout) | see-takeout | Microsites |
Account tab
The Account (ES: "Cuenta") tab has its own two sub-tabs on the left: Profile and Security.
Profile (ES: "Perfil")
Edits your own admin user profile (not the restaurant). Shows your avatar and name at top.
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Your first name | Required, max 255 |
| Family name (ES: "Apellido") | Your last name | Required, max 255 |
| Address | Your address | Required, max 255 |
| Phone number | Your phone (US) | Required; must start with + and country code |
Click Save, confirm in the dialog. Fields are read-only unless you have edit-account.
Security (ES: "Seguridad")
Change your login password.
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Current password | Your existing password | Required |
| New password | The new password | Required; must contain a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number, a symbol (!+@#$%^&*), min 8 characters |
| Confirm password | Re-type the new password | Required; must match New password |
A live strength indicator shows below. Click Submit new password (ES: "Enviar nueva contraseña") and confirm. (The on-screen note says "at least 1 letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol, minimum 12 characters" — the enforced minimum is 8 plus the character classes above.) Editing requires edit-account.
Password help on the login screen (before you're signed in)
The Account → Security tab above is the way to change your password while signed in. Two other password flows live on the login page itself (https://admin.eatsyorders.com, before you log in) — useful when you can't get in:
Forgot password (self-service reset). On the login screen, click Forgot password. The Password Recovery dialog opens and walks through three steps:
- Enter your email. Type the email on your account and click Recovery password. A 6-digit verification code is emailed to you (the dialog confirms the masked destination address).
- Enter the code. Type the 6-digit code. Click Resend verify code if it didn't arrive, then Validate code.
- Set a new password. Enter the new password and confirm it. The same rules apply (lowercase + uppercase + number + symbol
!+@#$%^&*, minimum 8 characters), and a live strength meter is shown. Click Change password. A success message confirms the change and the dialog closes. (If the code was wrong, you're sent back to step 2 to re-enter it.)
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| The account email to send the reset code to | Required; must be a valid email, max 255 | |
| Code | The 6-digit code from the email | Must be 6 digits |
| Password | The new password | Lowercase + uppercase + number + symbol, min 8 |
| Confirm password | Re-type the new password | Must match Password |
First-time login (set your password). When a brand-new admin account logs in for the first time, the app shows an Update your password dialog instead of taking you in. Enter a New password and Confirm password (same rules and strength meter as above), then click Login. Once accepted you're taken straight into the backoffice. There is no "current password" here because the account is brand new.
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| New password | The password you're setting for the account | Lowercase + uppercase + number + symbol, min 8 |
| Confirm password | Re-type the new password | Must match New password |
Note: These two flows are reached from the login screen, not from the sidebar — there's no menu item for them. The in-app Account → Security tab is the only password tool available once you're signed in.
Billing tab
The Billing (ES: "Facturación") tab contains a single left sub-tab, Dual Pricing.
Dual Pricing (cash/card price difference)
Dual Pricing lets you charge a slightly different price to card payers so you can pass card fees on. A live Example preview shows a $20 product with the adjusted card price.
- Dual Pricing switch (top right) — turns the feature on/off for this location.
- Adjustment percentage — choose one of: 3%, 3.25%, 3.5%, 3.75%, 4%.
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Dual Pricing (switch) | Enable/disable | — |
| Adjustment percentage | Card surcharge rate | Required when enabled; up to 4 decimals |
Click Save and confirm. Saving with the switch on stores the percentage; saving with it off removes the dual-pricing setting for the location. Editing requires edit-dual; without it the section is read-only.
Note: There is a separate "Credit card fee" toggle with the same 3%–4% choices on the Payment providers tab — see below. Dual Pricing here controls the cash/card display difference.
Language tab
The Language (ES: "Idioma") tab sets your menu's languages.
- Native language — the default language loaded when customers open the site. Choose English (en-US) or Spanish (es-CO) with the flag toggle.
- Language to translate — the other language(s) your product names/descriptions can be translated into. Picking a native language automatically offers the opposite one here.
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Native language | Default site language | — |
| Languages to translate | Allowed translation languages | At least one language required |
Click Save and confirm. Editing requires edit-language.
Settings tab (location operating profile)
The Settings (ES: "Configuración") tab edits the operating profile of the active location — its restaurant info plus opening hours and photos. (This overlaps with the Locations edit form but focuses on operations.)
Top of the form:
- Hide prices switch.
- Save button (only if you can edit).
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Online name | The name shown online | Required, max 255 |
| Location email | Required, valid email | |
| Location's phone | Location phone | Required, US + format |
| Timezone | The location's time zone | Choose from list |
| Address (+ line 2, city, state, zip, country) | Location address via autocomplete | Address required, max 255; the rest optional |
| Latitude / Longitude | From the chosen address | Read-only |
Opening hours — below the info card, set the days and time ranges the location is open. At least one day/configuration is required, and each range's end time must be after its start time.
Restaurant Image (side panel) — upload a location photo. Supported types: JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP (the dropzone accepts image files). One image at a time; the app warns if you exceed the limit.
Click Save and confirm. Editing requires edit-place; otherwise the form is read-only.
Payment tab
Visibility: requires the Microsites product and see-payment (editing needs edit-payment).
The Payment (ES: "Pago") tab controls money rules for online orders. It has four sections:
Sales Tax
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Sales Tax | The tax rate applied to orders | Required (number) |
Allow payments by gift card
- Active switch — turn gift-card payments on/off.
Tips
- Allow Tips switch.
- Tip 1/2/3 (%) — three preset tip percentages (each required, must be a number).
- CUSTOM TIP switch — let customers enter their own tip.
- DEFAULT TIP — which preset is pre-selected (dropdown).
Click Save at the top of the Payment Settings section and confirm.
Payment providers tab
Visibility: requires see-provider (editing needs edit-provider).
The Payment providers (ES: "Proveedores de pago") tab is where you choose how cards are processed. (Full developer reference: docs/payment-providers.md.)
Sections:
Payment services (gateway)
- Gateway dropdown — Shift4 or NMI. (The processor is set automatically to match the gateway.)
- If Shift4 and the location is new (no access token): a Generate Access Token button starts the token flow; the Access token field is shown.
- If NMI:
- A Processor ID field (your SignaPay/other processor ID) is always shown.
- If you don't yet have NMI credentials and can edit, a NMI credentials button opens a modal to enter the NMI Private API Key and NMI Tokenization Key. The button is disabled until Processor ID is filled.
- Once credentials are saved, the button is replaced by a success note reminding you to save the payment settings to persist everything.
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Gateway | Shift4 or NMI | Required |
| Access token (Shift4) | Shift4 connection token | Filled via Generate / shown for new places |
| Processor ID (NMI) | Your processor (e.g. SignaPay) ID | Needed to save NMI credentials and on save |
| NMI Private API Key | NMI private key (in modal) | Required to save NMI credentials |
| NMI Tokenization Key | NMI tokenization key (in modal) | Required to save NMI credentials |
The "Generate Access Token" dialog (Shift4 gateway). Click Generate Access Token to open the dialog. Paste your Shift4 Auth Token into the field and click Generate (the button stays disabled until you type something; a spinner shows while it works). On success the access token is filled into the form and the dialog closes with a success toast; on failure a red alert in the dialog shows the error detail. Click Cancel to close without generating.
The "NMI credentials" dialog. Click NMI credentials to open the dialog. It contains:
- NMI Private API Key and NMI Tokenization Key fields (both required).
- A permanent yellow warning: "Once you save these credentials, you will not be able to edit them again from this screen. Double-check the values before saving."
- Cancel and Save credentials buttons. Save credentials stays disabled until both keys are filled and a Processor ID exists on the form behind it. If the Processor ID is missing when you save, you get the error "Enter the Processor ID in the form before saving NMI credentials." On success the keys are written back into the form, the dialog closes, and a success toast appears.
Credit card fee
- A switch plus a percentage selector (3%, 3.25%, 3.5%, 3.75%, 4%) to add a card fee.
Enable 3D Secure
- Active switch — turn on 3-D Secure card authentication.
Enable Card on File
- Active switch — allow saving cards on file.
Click Save (in the Payment providers header) and confirm. Saving updates both the place's payment settings and syncs the gateway/processor with the payments service.
Gotchas (NMI):
- You must enter a Processor ID before you can save NMI credentials.
- Once you save the NMI keys, the modal warns you may not be able to edit them again from that screen — double-check before saving.
- Saving the NMI credentials modal alone is not enough; also Save the Payment providers form so all changes persist together.
Takeout/Delivery tab
Visibility: requires the Microsites product and see-takeout (editing needs edit-takeout).
The Takeout/Delivery (ES: "Para llevar/Domicilio") tab controls how the location accepts online orders. The form shows different sections depending on which Order types you select, so you only configure what applies.
Order Settings (always shown)
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Close order reception (switch) | Temporarily stop accepting orders | — |
| Order Type | Which order types are allowed: Takeout, Delivery, Custom delivery | At least one required |
| Preparation time (min) | Kitchen prep time in minutes | Required (number) |
| Restriction on number of orders (checkbox) | Cap orders per time window | — |
| Orders + time gap (10/15/20/30 min) | How many orders per window, and the window size | If the restriction is on, Orders must be greater than 0 |
| Online order surcharge name | Label for an online surcharge | Optional |
| Type (surcharge) | None / percentage / flat | If not "None," an amount is required |
| Amount (surcharge) | The surcharge value | Required unless type is None |
| Notification (checkbox) | Email notifications for new orders | — |
| Notification email | Where to send order notifications | Required if Notification is on; must be valid email |
| Notification phone | Phone for notifications | Optional; must use + country code, e.g. +12065551212 |
| Allow Special Request (switch) | Let customers add order notes | — |
Takeout Settings (shown if Takeout is selected)
| Field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Min order amount | Minimum order total for pickup | Required; must be ≤ Max |
| Max order amount | Maximum order total for pickup | Required; must be ≥ Min |
| Future orders | Whether/how far ahead customers can order | Required |
| Opening hours | Days and time ranges pickup is offered | At least one day; end after start per range |
Delivery Settings (shown if Delivery is selected)
- Future orders (required) and Opening hours (same rules as above), plus the Delivery mode choice below.
Delivery mode (Own vs Integrated)
When a delivery provider is connected, you choose how deliveries are handled:
- Own Delivery — your own coverage zones, delivery times, and fees apply.
- Integrated Delivery — deliveries go through your connected provider (IHD / Uber Direct / RouteMasters), which aggregates couriers. (The card title shows the active provider's name.)
If you pick Own Delivery, you configure Coverage zones (up to 3):
| Coverage field | What it does | Required / validation |
|---|---|---|
| Active (switch per zone) | Enable this zone | — |
| Distance (mi.) | Outer distance of the zone | Required; each zone must be ≥ the previous zone's distance |
| Distance (min.) | Time radius of the zone | Required; each zone ≥ the previous |
| Delivery time (minutes) | Estimated delivery time | Required; min 0 |
| Type | Fee type (e.g. Flat $) | — |
| Amount | The delivery fee | Required |
| Min order amount | Minimum order for this zone | Required; ≤ Max |
| Max order amount | Maximum order for this zone | Required; ≥ Min |
Use Add new coverage to add a zone (max 3). At least one coverage configuration is required when Own Delivery is used.
If you pick Integrated Delivery with IHD, an IHD Delivery Service Providers section lets you pick which courier networks IHD may route to (you must select at least one).
Custom delivery (shown if Custom delivery is selected)
For sending orders to named external destinations:
- Custom delivery configuration: Future orders + Opening hours.
- Custom delivery destinations: add one or more destinations, each with a destination name and location ID (letters, numbers,
_and-only — no spaces/symbols), plus optional fee type, amount, delivery time, and (when active) min/max order amounts.
Click Save and confirm. The form ignores validation errors for sections that don't apply to your selected order types.
Tips and limits
- One active delivery provider: IHD, Uber Direct, and RouteMasters are mutually exclusive. Connecting one auto-disconnects the others (with a warning), and disconnecting the last one resets delivery mode to Own.
- GPS is autocomplete-only: Latitude/Longitude are filled from the address autocomplete and are read-only; clearing the address zeroes them. IHD won't connect without coordinates.
- Tab visibility ≠ edit rights: A Settings tab can be visible (see-…) but read-only without the matching edit permission (edit-account, edit-place, edit-dual, edit-language, edit-payment, edit-provider, edit-takeout).
- NMI credentials are effectively write-once from the providers screen and require a Processor ID first; remember to save the main form afterward.
- Shift4 disconnect uninstalls the integration and is irreversible; re-import is a fresh setup.
- Delivery Dispatch must be connected in Marketplace before the sidebar page shows configuration; otherwise you get an empty state with a link to Marketplace.
- Delivery Dispatch Save for Strategy / Schedules / Coverage requires manage-delivery-dispatch; without it the page is view-only.
- Product access: Microsites, WhiteLabel, and similar product names unlock a section if any product on your account contains that word — so a longer/bundled product name that includes it also unlocks the gated area.
